H2-B Visa Update
We would like to provide you with an update regarding H-2B temporary work visas. Much has happened in 2009 with US Immigration Law, especially with H-2B visas. The CPHA for many years sponsored an H-2B visa program for its members that greatly reduced the expenses associated with maintaining a qualified, legal temporary workforce during the prime California horse show competition period. The US Department of Labor and US Citizenship and Immigration Services in January of 2009 changed the way H-2B petitions are filed, and group petitions are no longer allowed. This does not mean, however, that CPHA members must go without their much needed temporary workers and a legal workforce.
International Law Group, LLP (formerly MJA Attorneys at Law) has handled the H-2B visa petitions for the CPHA and its members successfully since 1992 and continues to do so today. International Law Group, LLP has successfully filed individual employer visa petitions for many CPHA members for the upcoming 2010 horse show season, and they are willing to assist all CPHA members, offering discounted legal fees for petition processing to our members.
If you need experienced legal assistance with your immigration matters or need a review of your immigration case, International Law Group, LLP is here to assist you.
Please contact either attorney Lisa Galliath or Martin Arburua at 858-259-0755 with any questions you.
